Brunello di Montalcino DOCG

vinification and aging

Made from Sangiovese grapes, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG is the result of the oenological expression of a territory with a long winemaking tradition. The wine goes through a long pe-riod of maceration where color and aromas are extracted from the skins. After fermentation, the wine is then aged in oak containers for a minimum period of 24 months followed by at least 4 months of bottle aging.

Brunello may be released for consumption from January 1 of the year following the five years calculated from the year of harvest.

Bright and intense ruby red tending to garnet

Intense and distinctive, ethereal and complex, fruity and woody, with balsamic hints

Full-bodied, sumptuous and well-structured with long finish.
