Growing grapes and making wine is an art. A kind of art handed down from father to son, which can only be learned through long, slow and laborious experience, taking place again and again according to the seasons cycle.
Tuscany is a hilly region, famous all over the world for the beauty of its countryside, the richness of the historical sites and the traditional art of wine making.
Sometimes I have been wondering which future this image of hands could have once machines have come. Through the hands of people who grow vines it is communicated a very ancient wisdom.

The “Collesano Collection” celebrates the Tuscan winemaking tradition and the passion of the Castellani family for Art and Nature. Andrea Collesano’s evocative graphics are associated with the most famous Tuscan wines created to pair with the finest cuisine.
In this wine collection we gathered our best wines approached to works of art preserved in the Castellani family art collection. We thank all the artists for allowing us to associate their works to our most important wines and for having collaborated with “Materia Prima” art project.
“Wines produced from natural, organic and integrated viticulture, and in general everything that comes from a sustainable production process, is what I like most. It makes me happy and gives me hope for the future. From this passion, which I share with many people I work with, is born a selection of wines.” Piergiorgio Castellani
