About Campomaggio:

“In the heart of Chianti Classico, in the centre of an uncontaminated faunistic oasis, there are the vineyards of the historical Estate of Campomaggio, recently brought back to the ancient splendour thanks to an attentive restoration led by the Castellani Family.” Gambero Rosso

WINE:

From Campomaggio Estate we produce three wines based on Sangiovese grapes. The Chianti Classico is the result of the attentive clonal selection of grapes coming from the most vocated vineyards; in the best years we produce the Riserva, refined for 24 months in casks by 35HL in the underground cellars of Campomaggio. A blend of Sangiovese (85%) and Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, is the basic blend of the acclaimed Toscana Igt that completes the range of classic wines with an International touch, still remaining faithful to the expression of the great terroir of Chianti Classico.

Castellani recommends...

  • Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG - Campomaggio

Years of ageing ennoble this Chianti Classico which is only produced in the best years and specially selected as Reserve. Aged for 12 months in oak casks, it is then refined one year in the bottle.
