An award conferred by the Sommelier Wine Awards 2012
We learn with satisfaction that our Toscana IGT Alle Viole 2009 of the Ceppaiano Estate has been awarded with the Silver Medal at the Sommelier Wine Awards 2012. This is the judgment given to our wine: 'Savoury and meaty aromas mix with gorgeous floral notes and hints of spice, leading to more of the same on a suave black-fruited palate. The acidity is lively, the tannins are delicate and the finish is fresh,' said an impressed Emilie Courtois, Terroirs.

We are satisfied especially because the judgment underlines the character and personality of our wines.
Great confirmation by the Guide ViniBuoni d’Italia, which rewards our wines with very good grades. We entered last year on tiptoes with a gem, the "Genius Loci" (Toscana IGT 100% Sangiovese), which liked very much, and this year we have also proposed: the Chianti Superiore DOCG Poggio al Casone Estate and Burchino Estate 2010, the Chianti Classico DOCG Campomaggio Farm 2009, the Campomaggio Reserve 2008 and the Genius Loci Toscana IGT 2010.

Chianti 2009 of the Ceppaiano estate e La Cattura IGT 2010 of Poggio al Casone obtained a good score.
Also this year the work done in the constant search for quality of our wines rewards us. The company, in fact, entered in the prestigious guide of L'Espresso, with the confirmation of two wines: Chianti 2009 of the Ceppaiano Estate (which gets 15/20) and the legendary IGT of Poggio al Casone organic vineyard "La Cattura" 2010 (14/20).

The Poggio al Casone vineyard is situated on the hills of Pisa, in the district of Crespina, in a spot studded with gorgeous villas of the 19th century. The particular soil and the positive influence of the Tyrrhenian coast create a microclimate, ideal to obtain great quality red wines.
Focus on : Wine
Deep ruby red colour with garnet reflections. Wonderful nose with balsamic scents, mint and eucalyptus, Mediterranean spiced flavours of bergamot, sage and rosemary.
Spot : Art
Crowdfunding means to launch a campaign via Internet in which you seek sponsors before starting with the realization. Last year, in fact, Piergiorgio Castellani has already participated in the first phase of this project also by providing the location in one of the estates; and now supports the final stages again through crowdfunding.
